We take the Visible Thinking Routine to the next level and literally put our image inside a famous piece of artwork.  With the new iPads in our art room, we can now use the app "Superimpose Studio" to learn photo editing software techniques.

Third graders learn about Da Vinci's human body proportions.  Ask them to share these fun "tricks" with you.  They really work!  After sketching a self portrait using appropriate proportions, we use a grid system to create ourselves as Minecraft (or pixelated) people.
